Animal ID: 16-06-22-00283Blake Shelton (male)

Great Dane Mix    Age: Puppy

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Kids and Adults
Personality: High Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

This is Blake Shelton! Unfortunately he does not sing country music but he is super handsome and will lay on the love!!! Blake came to us from a great home who had multiple other dogs and Blake's brother. As in most situations where litter mates are adopted into the same household, they started having problems with the two siblings. We were told Blake is a Great Dane/Pit bull mix. He is now 8months old and ready for his forever home! He is potty trained, leash/off leash trained, gets along great with other dogs, loves children, and wants to do nothing more than love you and get some in return! I do not think he will be super big, but he is ... (Read More)almost 45lbs already so I definitely would put him in the 60lbs weight when full grown! He is still very much a puppy, he does like to chew, but is kennel trained, so leaving him with a chew toy or rawhide when you are gone is perfect, although I do believe once he gets past his chewing stage, with training can conquer his need to chew and become a all around house dog. He does not bark excessively in or out of the kennel, and although he loves running and playing with kids and/or other dogs outside, he loves to lounge around indoors also. I'm not going to say he NEEDS a backyard, although they are always nice, Blake has the potential for apartment living with regular dog park visits and exercise! This dog is a PERFECT family dog! He would also do great in a 1 on 1 situation with someone, and continuous socialization! His adoption fee is REDUCED! He came to us neutered and healthy so we have only had to do a little on the vetting side, i.e. heartworm test, and heartworm/flea & tick preventative. If you or anyone you know might be interested in Blake, please call/email/text asap! This guy deserves a life long family of love and joy! Thank you!!! (Less)

Animal ID: 16-06-02-00620Taz the Spaz (male)

Pit Bull    Age: Young Puppy

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Dogs, Not Good w/ Cats, Good w/ Adults (Not Kids)
Personality: High Energy, Very Dominant
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current, Abused/Neglected, Aggressive

This beautiful little boy is Taz the Spaz! Yes, this is really his name! He is a pitbull that came to us from Florida, we are not sure of his history but we do know that he had it rough, there were many scars on him already when he came to us at 10weeks old. He is now about 4 1/2 months and doing much better! He is no longer skin and bones and is parasite free and now has been neutered and is up to date on all his vet care, age allowing! He isn't called Spaz for no reason, whatever happened to this poor little guy definitely caused some issues. We DO NOT recommend him to a household with children under age 16. he tends to show more of his ... (Read More)aggression with new people, including children, such as nipping at their ankles or hands. He is also a very verbal dog, growls and barks a lot, even if its not aggressive, and is a very big jumper, like Tigger from Winnie the pooh! For this reason, he has to go to a home with people that can work with him appropriately without being fearful. He has AMAZING POTENTIAL!!! I don't want to scare people off by saying all this, he is truly a sweet boy, and does well with 1 or 2 less dominant dogs, and one on one time with his people. The sooner he gets adopted the better off he will be! Being with so many other dogs seems to make it more difficult for him! However he is potty trained almost 95%, you still have to prompt him sometimes, and he is off the leash and working on leash training. He just needs lots of love, and wants to be the center of attention! Please help us find Taz his forever home!!! (Less)

Animal ID: 16-06-02-00549Twilight (female)

German Shepherd Mix    Age: Young Puppy

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Dogs, Not Good w/ Cats, Good w/ Kids and Adults
Personality: High Energy, Somewhat Dominant
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current, Abused/Neglected

Twilight is a wonderful sweet little pup who has come a long way! We know Twilight's mom was German Shepard, but unsure of dad, and although she carries many wonderful German Shepard traits, her size is tiny! Maybe mixed with Shiba Inu?? She was brought to us at 10 weeks old with because some neighborhood boys had been teasing her with food, not getting her vet checked, and hanging her over tree branches by her leash and chocker collar. She was malnourished, starving, full of 3 different parasites, on a parvo quarantine, (she did not catch it yay!)and showed some aggression signs regarding food and children. Now at almost 6 months, she can ... (Read More)eat peacefully and respectfully as long as people or other dogs stay out of her bowl, she eats in kennel it's less stressful, and plays wonderfully with my 5 and 4 year old son and daughter. they had been afraid of her because she would chase and nip at them and now they can pick her up and take her on walks and play fetch without a problem! I worked with a behaviorist to make this all happen, and it worked! She is now getting spayed tomorrow, fully potty trained with limited supervision, off the leash trained and leash friendly as well. She gets along with all other dogs, but not cats as she will chase and bark! she is extremely intelligent and has a heck of a nose on her, typical of German Shepards! She has blossomed and become a really awesome dog! She NEEDS a fenced in back yard or a large piece of land to live on, because she does like to explore. She is a digger and escape artist! She loves the outdoors so somewhere she can go in and out of is ideal! But she will cuddle all night with you in bed! And when I say small, I mean she is barely 25lbs! Help Twilight find her forever loving family, she totally deserves it!!! (Less)
